The Mabank Panthers freshmen football team faced a tough battle tonight, falling to the Tyler Chapel Hill Bulldogs with a final score of 49-14. Despite the loss, the Panthers put up a valiant effort on the field, showcasing their determination and grit.
Leading the charge for Mabank were standout players #20 Brody Carter, #16 Wyatt Gollrad, #8 Ethan Baker, and #7 Marcos Guerrero. Their hard work and dedication were evident as they pushed through each play, demonstrating the spirit of teamwork that defines the Panthers.
Carter ended the night with a pair of touchdowns and multiple open-field solo tackles, exemplifying what it means to play both sides of the football for the Panthers.
Baker had a beautiful pass for a successful 2 point conversion and was able to get out in front of Carter multiple times to lay down some key blocks.
Gollrad and Guerrero held the defense together at the linebacker position garnering multiple tackles between the two of them throughout the evening.
