The Mabank Panthers lost their first game of the season by 1 point to the visiting Bullard Panthers. The Mabank defense held up well and gave up only 1 touchdown in the game. The defense also put the home team's 6 points on the board with a 45 yard interception returned for a touchdown by Rev Neighbors. The Mabank Panther offense drove into the red zone several times throughout the night, but failed to put one in the end zone.
The Panthers look to bounce back this week as they travel to Kemp to take on the Yellowjackets on September 6th at 7:00pm.
