The boys' golf team competed in the 4A Region 2 golf tournament at Van Zandt Country Club on April 15th and 16th, taking home the first place trophy. Behind regional medalist Gunnar McGilvra, the Panthers shot a 596 (297-299) for the 2 day event, winning by 12 strokes over second place Sulphur Springs. In addition to McGilvra, Jacob Steele (3rd), Cameron Van Horn (t-7th), and Lawson Shackelford (t-10th) were named to the All-Region team. The team will next compete at the state tournament on April 29th & 30th at Legends Golf Course in Kingsland.
